Harrison, Ellie, and Bonnie riding the donkey statue in front of Boston's Old City Hall

Harrison and Bonnie in front of Paul Revere's tomb stone (see that little thing next to Harrison?)
Since the weather FINALLY decided to cooperate, Bonnie and I braved the Freedom Trail with the kids this morning. They were great 90% of the time. Harrison enjoyed playing with some sticks he found near John Adam's grave and picking "dandy flowers" (dandelions) in the cemetery to take home for the lizard to eat. Ellie enjoyed kicking her shoes and socks off and throwing those along with her sunglasses on the ground leaving us a nice trail to follow back to the car. After hitting 13 stops on the Freedom Trail, we ventured back to Boston Common for a picnic lunch, intense pigeon and squirrel chasing, and a romp on the playground. Ellie discovered the beauties of jumping in gutter water which Harrison quickly joined in on.
