I hate coming up with titles

Why can't the TV and cable receiver box coordinate a little better? I just spent 10 minutes pushing the power button on the remote trying to turn both on but when one turned on, the other turned off. Now the amazing part here isn't that I FINALLY got off my duff and pushed the on button to the cable box, it's the fact that I played with the remote for 10 minutes, pushing the button 75+ times expecting a different result than I was already getting. I hate technology sometimes.

The kids and I went to free play time at the Winchester Rec Center this morning for playgroup. Harrison and Ellie had a blast with the Little Tikes flintstone-like cars. Harrison would gather all 9 cars and "park" them against the wall in a straight line. He would get highly irritated when one of the other kids tried to drive one away.

For the first time of what will probably be many times, I had to borrow money from my kid. We went to the drugstore to pick up a few things yesterday. Harrison brought his own wallet so that he could buy a treat (no free rides!). He paid first and then I put my things up on the counter. I dug in my purse and of course I had left my wallet at home. Thankfully Harrison had enough in his wallet to cover our purchases. I need to pay him back; hopefully he charges a low interest rate.

For the record, I haven't eaten any popcorn on the treadmill for fear of choking. Plus, I was thinking about how difficult it would be to only take one bite every 1 minute. I dare you to try that next time you're eating. Take 1 small bite, wake 60 seconds. Take 1 small bite, wake 60 seconds. You will lose your mind, I promise.

Kiddos just woke up. Need to run.

Now I know why I can't figure out how to use the TV, VCR, DVD or stereo and a lot of other things....I inherited the anti-electronic gene from my daughter; it was a "hand-me-up" :>)
