"No, I'm a monkey!"

I called Ellie a monkey yesterday for pulling my hair and Harrison said, "No, I'm a monkey!". He was very upset. I guess he was afraid that Ellie might also try to be a monkey for Halloween or that she might steal his costume??? Who knows. It was funny though.

Harrison has been clamoring for "tree" cookies. We are talking full-blown meltdowns when I explain we don't have any tree cookies. He found my cookie cutters the other day and has wanted to have Christmas tree cookies ever since. So we are off to the grocery store to buy some molasses so we can have tree cookies...

Harrison is obsessed with Mickey Mouse right now. He drags around my old Mickey Mouse stuffed animal and wants to watch Mickey Mouse Clubhouse around the clock. I have no idea where he got into Mickey Mouse but at least by watching Mickey Mouse and buying Disney products he is increasing the value of his and Ellie's Disney stock :)

Ellie is playing with Harrison's puzzle right now (read here: taking it apart and putting it in her mouth). She is interested in whatever Harrison is playing with and not her own toys. She also manages to eat every piece of hair on the floor (or ones she pulls off of my head) and well, it does interesting things to her digestion (if you have a dog, you might know what I mean).

Miss Ellie,
Please don't eat hair from the floor---the thought of it grosses me out. Please ask your mom for something yummy to eat, and if she doesn't get you something, ask daddy; daddys always cave in to their little girls :>) Grandma Lue
