My little baker

Harrison has become my little baker. He loves to help e make cookies, muffins, bread, and just about anything that tastes good! Here are some pictures of our banana muffin making on Sunday. I told Harrison we were making banana muffins and he immediately went in the bathroom to grab his step stool and chanted "chop nuts, chop nuts". I guess he knows his job. He loves to pat the streusel topping onto the muffins too.
We also made "pumpkin" cookies this week. We searched the grocery store for a Halloween cookie cutter but came up empty handed so we made snickerdoodles with orange food coloring in them. I tried to teach Harrison how to roll the dough into balls but it was a pretty picture. Instrad I gave him the job of rolling the cookie dough balls in the cinnamon sugar mixture (also a messy option). He did well except most of the balls ended up having finger depressions in them.

Off to figure out what Ellie is going to be for Halloween (man, the second kid always gets the short end of the stick...).
