On Friday we received a major snow dump. We woke up Saturday morning to tackle the shoveling and let Harrison and Ellie play in the snow for awhile. The kids had a fun time but quickly got cold. Trying to prove my willingness to help, I shoveled our front steps and our small sidewalk and was wiped. Ten inches of snow is heavy! And I am weak...but did I mention that 10 inches of snow is heavy? Our gracious neighbor bailed us out and used his snow blower on the majority of our LONG driveway (kindness still exists in the world).
Nothing too wild to report. Ellie has recently taken an interest in body parts. About a week ago she reached up, touched my nose, and said "nose". Now she points out her own nose as well and can identify and say "eye" and "mouth" (well, almost on the word "mouth").
Josh had a baby shower at work this week. I mentioned this to Harrison and he said "where's the baby tub?" I had to think for a minute before I figured out what he meant but finally just laughed. We then had a quick lesson about what a baby shower is.
And that, my friends, is about all I remember from this week. Sad, but true.
