today's highlights and lowlights

Here is a brief list of today's highlights and lowlights:

Highlights
1. Ellie took five steps today, the most she has ever taken. She is well on her way to walking.

2. Harrison ate a good portion of his dinner after I bribed him with a bath (he normally showers so baths are a novelty). Getting him to eat dinner has been a constant battle lately.

Lowlights
1. Harrison threw one of Ellie's hard, plastic toys at church today. It grazed the head of an investigator sitting between two missionaries two pews in front of us. Hopefully the man attending our church for the first time won't assume being pelted with toys is some kind of odd initiation into the LDS faith.

2. Ellie has hardly eaten a thing today. We think she may be cutting new teeth. The food that she did put in her mouth mostly came out but only after she had thoroughly chewed it. There's nothing like mashed up cheese or granola bar on your Sunday best...
