Josh and I voted this morning. I voted for Fred Thompson because he used to be on Law and Order and I like Law and Order and even though he wasn't a very good actor at least I know he can read from a script better than our current president (just kidding, well all but the part about our current president not being able to recite lines). Harrison was excited to go vote too, at least until we got to the polling place. I did my best to give him a civics lesson on the value of voting but he was more interested in ducking between Josh's and my poll booth. I guess he is another apathetic voter in the making. On the plus side, the little grandmas serving as precinct officials thought the kids were awful cute and a lot more fun to look at than the old men trailing in after us.

Thompson was still on the ballot? No primary here yet- not until mid-May for us. Just watching the votes come in, I'm such a nerd!
We voted at the Ronald Reagan Library with Ronnie and Nancy looking over our shoulders (at least their photos were watching us.) It was pretty cool being there for that reason, but we crossed to the dark side and voted for Obama (meaning the Democrat side.) Of course all of the grandmas are going to admire Harrison and Ellie--they're jealous that their grandbabies aren't as cute as mine!
