you can't open your car doors because they are frozen shut! This is a first for me. We went to get in the car this morning and couldn't open the doors; they were literally frozen shut. Josh and I were afraid if we pulled too hard we would break the door handles off. Somehow Josh opened the driver side door and had to go inside to push the other ones open.
And if that doesn't tell you how cold it is today, here is one more piece of evidence. I pulled up to the pump at the gas station and the attendant said they were only taking cash. Why you ask? The ink in the credit card machine was frozen so they couldn't print receipts. Lovely.

Yeah, that is cold. I've the doors freeze shut before. Not fun. I won't tell you that today it's, ahem, 50 degrees here. Don't worry, our 750th snow storm comes on Wednesday. ;)
