Ellie got in trouble yesterday. While I was getting Harrison dressed, she was busy climbing. Harrison found her first and said Ellie was being naughty. I came out of Harrison's room and found Ellie sitting on the kitchen table with her hands in the fruit bowl. She had taken little Ellie bites out of all the unripe pears and nectarines and was starting on the bananas. She's our little monkey and I now know I can't let her out of my site--especially near the kitchen table. I would have snapped a picture but I was too nervous about leaving her alone on the table while I searched for the camera.


Harrison had fun with his finger paints yesterday. Ellie wanted to join in but I knew she would try and eat the paint and well, that sounded disgusting. Surprisingly, Harrison (my little neat freak
who really doesn't like to be dirty) jumped right in to the finger paints but did insist on having his hands wiped off between his various creations.

We bought plane tickets for this Summer to California and Hawaii. And on a day like today where even your bones feel cold and a new storm front is moving in, California and Hawaii sound dreamy (thank you family for living in vacation destinations). I think I would cry if I had to look forward to a Summer trip to Oklahoma. How many Oklahomans did I just offend? Probably all 137 who live there.
