"NO WAY"

No way! No way! No way!

Thats' what I hear all day from Harrison. For the record, it's not the cute "no way" as in "wow" or "stellar". It's the top of your lungs, I'm my own man and gonna do whatever I want kind of "no way!". I don't know where he picked up "no way" but I wish he hadn't. And there's "no way" to get him to stop saying it.

Ellie is our little dare devil. She climbs on everything and has no fear. She stands on her car, Harrison's rocking chair, and best of all, in the grocery cart. She can turn around in the grocery cart and stand up in .2 seconds (and yes, she is strapped in as snug as possible). If I put her back down, she just repeats the process or arches her back and screams. Shopping is FUN :)

Ellie rediscovered her Mickey Mouse ears last week. When she woke up from her nap, she was reaching for them. She had Josh help her put them on and now it's a post-nap ritual. Why this child with wear mouse ears with the irritating elastic under her chin for 30 minutes every day but can't bear to keep a bow in her hair for more than 30 seconds on Sundays is beyond me.

Ellie started saying shoe today.

Have you thought that Harrison could be saying "No way" to listening to "Row, row, row your boat" all day? We love the picture of Ellie--she's gorgeous! It sounds like she takes after her Uncle Nate; I couldn't keep him off the kitchen counters or the top of the12' slide we had when he was her age (but you have to wonder about any parents that would have a slide that tall...)

I so understand-when Aaron was young I would get these horrified looks from people because he would stand up in the seat of the grocery cart as soon as I turned my head, but he was strapped in as tight as it would go. He actually even fell back into the back of the grocery cart once. How embarressing:)
