I have never been so excited to see pee!

Harrison finally did it! He peed in the toilet for the first time today. I put him on the potty right after lunch and after sitting on the adult potty (with child's seat on top) for 10 minutes he was about done and ready to give up (but he had been trying so hard). So I asked him if he wanted to try and sit on the potty chair and he said "yes". Well, he's not one for spectators and said "mommy, baby, out!" A couple of minutes later, he called me back in and I asked him if he had pooped. He said "no, pee!". He got off the potty and sure enough, he was right! We had a little potty party right there in the bathroom, Harrison half naked and all. He got to put three Thomas the Tank engine stickers on his potty chart and well (here comes the probably bad mommy part) I told him we would go get a donut this afternoon. Who cares! I would buy him a whole stinkin' Dunkin' Donuts shop at this point because I am so proud of him!

On a completely opposite note, the kids and I all have coxsackie virus (hand, foot, mouth disease). I guess one of the kids at church came with it unknowingly Sunday before last and now half of the congregation is down with it. We all feel a little yucky but are managing.

Yeah for Harrison!

Way to pee Harrison! It's all down hill or is it up hill from here. I completely understand the donut bribe. Been there, done that!
